Are you looking for a change of scenery or industry? The Long Reach Woodchip Mill holds the key to your new opportunity.
The Long Reach Mill is a picturesque 30-minute drive from Launceston on the East Tamar. We receive 100% plantation grown sustainable wood, process, and export for the use in pulp and paper products. Long Reach deep-water port accommodates some of the largest woodchip vessels in the world. The mill is currently in the process of capital project investment and looking at continual improvement to deliver further value.

Who will join our journey…

- Clear and effective communication skills with the desire to be a valued member of a cohesive, solutions-focused team
- A strong safety focus, with the ability and desire to operate safely within safe working systems and practices.
- Willing and able to work a rotating Mon-Friday day/afternoon shift roster
- Comfortable with technology and a basic level of competency with computers.
You may come with the following experience, skills and background (desirable but not essential):
- Existing Certificates and competencies in mobile and fixed plant operations, preferably with experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Experience from within Forest or Process Industry, or heavy industrial environment
