This is a $925K collaborative research project with all the key Pinus radiata growers in Australia and Tree Breeding Australia. The project will establish the genomic resources required to enable future genomic research and rapid selection of elite breeding lines.

Nutrition Management of Hardwood Plantations

Optimising nutrition management of hardwood plantations for sustainable productivity and profitability.

This is a $1.8M collaborative research project with Australia’s plantation eucalypt growers and the Industry Plantation Management Group. The project will develop knowledge and tools that will enable the identification of the most responsive plantation sites to nutrient interventions and provide guidelines on optimising nutrient management across sites.
