The bare roots of the job

As our Training & Safety Support Coordinator you will work closely with the People and Culture team and across the business to identify and deliver training to new and existing staff, including:

  • Promoting our work safe, home safe culture
  • Identifying internal and external training needs to address competency gaps, coordinating the planning, creation and implementation of programs
  • Facilitating face-to-face training across our sites, including the development of relevant training material / resources and the assessment of competency
  • Facilitation of learning through alternative methods including e-learning modules, external training, mentoring or on the job training
  • Coordinating the administration and reporting on training outcomes, including maintaining evidence of compliance and individual training plans
  • Monitoring the training and development budget, along with identifying funding opportunities.

Who will join our journey…

To be considered for this position you will need to be passionate about safety and bring with you:

  • Certificate IV – Training and Assessment (or relevant educational qualification)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse business as a Training Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences and influence
  • Quick learner, with the ability to translate complex information and concepts into an easily understood format for a training environment.
  • High level of motivation and initiative, being agile and adaptable with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Drivers Licence (or ability to obtain)
