Forico currently breeds and deploys the following species:
- Eucalyptus globulus (Blue gum)
- Eucalyptus nitens (Shining gum)
- Pinus radiata (Radiata pine)
Forico was the first forest grower in the world to successfully implement marker-aided selection in hardwood plantations and this technology is being leveraged in the breeding programs for all species. Importantly, Forico does not engage with or deploy genetic modified organisms.
