The bare roots of the job…
We’re looking for a sharp and reliable Weighbridge Operator to help us keep things running smoothly at our Surrey Hills Mill. You’ll be the first point of contact for incoming deliveries - recording, and verifying woodchip loads, greeting visitors and maintaining accurate documentation. You’ll also branch out into administration responsibilities, supporting site operations and contributing to broader business processes.
This position offers a unique blend of operational involvement at the woodchip mill weighbridge and administrative responsibility. Ideal for someone who’s comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on industrial environment while also demonstrating precision and proficiency in administration including data management and reporting.
Who will join our journey…
Applicants must have;
Administration experience with good computer literacy, accurate data entry skills and the ability to learn new IT software programs.
A safety first mindset with the ability to live Forico’s zero-harm ethos of “work safe, home safe”
A willingness to work shift work (day and night shifts, Monday to Friday)
Previous experience in mill operations, a weighbridge or a heavy industrial environment would also be looked upon favourably.
We’re looking for someone who’s a safety champion, a great communicator, and a team player who can also work independently. If you’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and ready to chip in wherever needed, we want to hear from you.
